We love hosting visitors of all types from all around the world! We also host longer term visitors who work on our farm or teach classes in exchange for lodging, meals, and learning opportunities.

Our History ~

We purchased our property in 2018 and have been working hard at it ever since, dreaming up and implementing new ways to carry out our mission! Some of the goals we’ve achieved include:

  • Renovated our main “community” house.

  • Built a workshop facility to house and feed more students.

  • Built our first green house and developed a strain of Morenga trees (high nutrient tree) that grows in this area of Texas.

  • Acquired an Amish work horse named Ellie.

  • Hosted two dome home building workshops with Domegaia.com

  • Produced our own Finishing/Magnesium Oxide workshop

  • Completed our first dome and made it available!

  • Launched our new website by Marketing Metal!

Trajectory ~

Our worldview is one of continuous learning and growing, so as you can imagine, we have grand plans and ideas for our future! A few exciting things we are looking forward to include:

  • Finish our second dome home as a bedroom for the first dome.

  • Expand our chicken raising for self-sustenance.

    • building chicken tractors

    • meat chicken production and harvesting classes.

  • Become certified in Permaculture and teach certification classes on site.

  • Build and offer workshops on aquaponics.

  • Designing our first food forest!

Curious about the tiny house lifestyle, but unsure about the practicalities of downsizing? Or maybe you’re concerned you might feel too confined in a smaller space? We hear that a lot, but the only way for you to truly know is to experience it for yourself. So go ahead, try a few different styles! And while you’re here, please ask us lots of questions. We are passionate about tiny living and enjoy sharing our knowledge with anyone eager to learn!
